it's already spring
a free + digital-only hyouka zine, celebrating the anime's 10th anniversary
“the colour of youth is like ice cream”“Its many flavours are like the spectrum of a rainbow, but no matter how it tastes, what doesn’t change is its richness and flavour. Another distinguishing feature of ice cream is the short time one has to eat it, and how we must take care to avoid polluting it. It’s just like how youth is full of numerous possibilities, but its fragile and limited energy is easily challenged by the outside world.” ☆

- No, it is only available as a free PDF.3. What's the zine's theme?

5. Who made this zine?
- This zine is a labour of love from a small community of hyouka-lovers! We wanted to put something out to celebrate this amazing series that brought us together and continues to hold a special place in our hearts. If you want to join our discord, drop us a DM on our twitter.6. Why make a zine for Hyouka now?
- Hyouka has a small fandom. Not many people actively talk and discuss this show anymore. The novel has just turned 20-years old, and the anime will be 10-years old in 2022. Why do a zine for such an old and inactive fandom? Because we can. Because we love the show!
- Because even if months or years from now, we move on to new pastures, what doesn't change will be the fact that Hyouka meant something special to us at some point of our lives. “To think that what i'm feeling right now won't matter in the future... I don't want to think like that. I'm alive right now.”We hope you'll enjoy the work that we've produced to say thanks to the series and its creators, especially those who have left us too soon.
